HIGH-S-LIGHT 4000/2500 BOOST with PNEUMATIC SHUTTER SYSTEM

Especially for the application of High-Speed Photography & Video on Airbag Modul Tests, this Lighting System has been designed. New test specifications require to perform the deployment test of airbag modules at test temperatures down to -35°C.

The light wich is necessary to illuminate the test area so to enable HS photogra-phy and video will normally causes a heating of the airbag module within a short period of time. Thus the tolerance of the module temperature cannot kept. In the past the HIGH-S-LIGHT Systems had been operated using the Standby (50%) and BOOST (200%) mode. These measures offered already good control on test sample´s temperatures requirements, but not sufficient for the low (-35°C) temperature requirements.

The new HIGH-S-LIGHT PS System now offer the possibility to direct the light to the airbag module only in the needed sequence of time. The main functions therefore are integrated into the overall test sequenze control.
